The Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (RBINS) is looking for a scientific collaborator (m/f/x) for a contract of determined duration starting at December 1, 2021.
You will work in the Operational Directorate Natural Environment of the RBINS on the project ‘Monitoring of sediment plumes around offshore wind turbines’.
The main goal of the project is to measure and quantify ocean parameters, that can help understanding their origin, dispersion and deposition of material around offshore wind turbines.
The project is part of the legal obligations to monitor the ecological effects of offshore wind farms and will be executed in cooperation with other monitoring programs and activities and in cooperation with the Brain.be project OUTFLOW, to arrive to a coherent and integrated monitoring strategy.
