In recent years, HKV has been involved in a wide range of coastal engineering projects, for example a study into the effects of sea level rise and sediment starvation on the Oosterschelde or a study into measures to combat salt intrusion in deltas. In many of our projects we link our coastal engineering knowledge and experience to our unique expertise in the field of probabilistics, such as for deriving hydraulic boundary conditions along the Flemish coast or the safety assessment of the Eastern Scheldt storm surge barrier.
We have the ambition to further expand our coastal engineering profile and our portfolio of projects along the coast, both in the Netherlands and abroad. That is why we are looking for an experienced coastal engineer m/f who focuses on initiating, leading and executing coastal-related consultancy and research projects.
