On Friday, August 1st, the YNCK community gathered along The Hague beach for an evening of fun, connection, and coastal vibes. Though the sun only peeked through the clouds occasionally and the wind made its presence known, the waves were a stunning sight —perfect for us coastal researchers! Short games of beach volleyball were played, though the wind had other plans. Still, the energy was high, the BBQ was delicious, and the turnout was great. Despite the breezy weather, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a memorable summer evening.
